Thomas W. Yeh is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.
Mr. Yeh focuses on high-tech patent and trade secret litigation. He has tried a dozen cases through trial, including in the District of Delaware, Northern District of California, Eastern District of Virginia, and the International Trade Commission. In 2022, Mr. Yeh was a member of a trial team that secured back-to-back jury victories on behalf of both a plaintiff and a defendant.
Mr. Yeh’s experience includes all aspects of complex litigation, including managing large-scale foreign discovery, taking and defending depositions, arguing case dispositive motions, and examining fact and expert witnesses at trial. Mr. Yeh has also argued before the Patent and Trademark Appeals Board in inter partes review proceedings.
Mr. Yeh graduated with high honors from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as an editor on the George Washington Law Review. Prior to law school, Mr. Yeh received degrees in electrical engineering and economics from Rice University.
