Dr. Steffen Augschill is an associate in the Corporate Department in the Düsseldorf office of Latham & Watkins, focusing on M&A, reorganizations, and general corporate law. He regularly advises on public M&A and going-private transactions as well as stock corporation law matters.

Prior to joining Latham as an associate in 2017, Mr. Augschill gained experience working as an academic assistant in the corporate department of another major international law firm in Düsseldorf.

Mr. Augschill completed his practical legal training in Düsseldorf and New York. In 2015, he obtained his doctorate degree (Dr. iur) from the University of Freiburg.

  • Listed Nagarro SE on its comprehensive group restructuring including upstream merger of Nagarro Holding GmbH and roll over of management participation
  • EG Group on the acquisition of OMV’s petrol station business in Germany
  • BayWa AG on a €530 million minority investment of EIP in BayWa r.e. renewable energy AG
  • Bregal on the acquisition of legal software business STP from Hg
  • Triton on a merger squeeze-out of minority shareholders of RENK AG
  • Novo Holdings A/S on an increase in its anchor shareholding in listed Evotec SE
  • Hyundai on the acquisition of Sixt SE’s entire shareholding in Sixt Leasing SE, and the voluntary public takeover bid for all remaining shares in Sixt Leasing SE
