Catherine Campbell supports knowledge management initiatives for the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practices.

Before joining the Knowledge Management team, Ms. Campbell was an associate in Latham’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Previously, she was an associate at another international law firm in London.

Ms. Campbell's representative transactions include advising:

  • Burford Capital Limited, the world’s largest provider of investment capital and risk solutions for litigation, on its acquisition of Firstassist Legal Expenses, the UK’s leading after-the-event litigation insurance provider
  • A. O. Smith Corporation on its US$400 million acquisition of Lochinvar Corporation, a privately held leading manufacturer of high-efficiency boilers
  • Ares Management LLC on its acquisition of Indicus Advisors, a UK investment manager specializing in European leveraged finance, a global structured corporate client
  • ABN AMRO (formerly Fortis Bank Netherlands) on the sale of its “Prime Fund Solutions” global fund administration and custody business to Credit Suisse
  • Troika Dialog Group on the US$1 billion acquisition of Industrial Union of Donbass Corporation, a group of steel companies operating across Central and Eastern Europe*
  • A high net worth individual on a sports and leisure joint venture in Russia*
  • Amtel-Vredestein N.V. a Russian tyre manufacturer on its US$150 million IPO on the London Stock Exchange*
  • Open Joint Stock Commercial Bank Nadra, a Ukrainian bank on aspects of its loan portfolio and various related restructuring matters*
  • A Swiss metals manufacturer on a joint venture to establish a processing and production plant in Kazakhstan*
  • JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production, a Kazakh oil and gas company on its US$1 billion acquisition of 50% of CITIC Canada Energy Limited, a company operating a large Kazakh field, from CITIC Group, a Chinese listed company, as well as advised the same company on two further oil and gas acquisitions in Kazakhstan*
