Anisha Mehta is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Tax Department. Her practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.
Ms. Mehta advises a wide variety of clients, including private equity funds and public and private companies, with respect to the employee benefit and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings and other corporate transactions. In addition, she represents employers and executives in the negotiation, design and implementation of employment, severance and change in control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements.
Ms. Mehta is also an active participant in the firm's pro bono program. She has represented clients in connection with structuring retirement plans, corporate governance matters, and compliance with employment laws.
Ms. Mehta received her JD from New York University School of Law where she served as a staff editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics.
