Latham & Watkins symposium in Mexico City discussed the current state of capital markets, M&A and private equity in Mexico.

Latham & Watkins hosted a half-day symposium in Mexico City on the current state of M&A and private equity in Mexico, as well as the US JOBS Act of 2012 and its impact on Mexican companies.

More than 120 attendees, including representatives from corporations, investment banks and private equity firms, heard from a group of expert panelists from Bloomberg, Credit Suisse, EMX Capital, ExxonMobil Ventures México, Goldman Sachs, Infraestructura Energética Nova (IEnova), Latham & Watkins, Macquarie, Morgan Stanley and NYSE Euronext. The symposium concluded with a keynote panel featuring Tania Ortiz Mena, Vice President of External Affairs and Business Development, IEnova, which focused on reform and private investment in the Mexican energy and infrastructure sector.
