Latham’s Global Corporate Department Chair honored for his professional achievements and exceptional leadership skills.

Marc Jaffe, partner in New York office of Latham & Watkins and Global Corporate Department Chair, has been named a Distinguished Leader by the New York Law Journal (NYLJ), as part of the publication’s 2020 Professional Excellence Awards. The NYLJ said that the award “recognizes attorneys in leadership roles who achieved impressive results in the past year” and highlights “lawyers who had great performances while demonstrating clear leadership skills leading to positive outcomes.”

Jaffe also represented Spotify in its groundbreaking direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 2018, paving the way for other companies to use the approach to go public. Jaffe has been named a Dealmaker of the Year by the American Lawyer for representing Manchester United in its landmark IPO on the NYSE. He previously served as Global Co-Chair of Latham’s Capital Markets Practice.
