Latham & Watkins Advises Sail Internet in Equity Investment from Newlight Partners

Sail Internet, Inc. (Sail), a rapidly-growing, high-speed internet provider leveraging fiber and next-generation wireless infrastructure to serve homes and businesses, has announced a new investment from affiliates of Newlight Partners LP, a private investment firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Sail in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Bay Area partner Eric Schwartzman, with associates Michael Podolny and Ajay Sundar. Advice was also provided on benefits and compensation matters by Bay Area partner Erin Murphy, with associate Erik Ward; on tax matters by Bay Area partner Grace Lee, with associate Amy Feinberg; and on antitrust matters by Washington, D.C. counsel Patrick English.
