Firm Advises Great Hill Partners on US$2.5 Billion Fund Formation

A New York-based investment funds team advised on the formation of Great Hill Equity Partners VII, L.P.

Great Hill Partners, a leading growth-oriented private equity firm, has announced the first and final closing of Great Hill Equity Partners VII, L.P., reaching its hard cap of US$2.5 billion of limited partner commitments. Launched in February, the Fund was oversubscribed and surpassed its US$2.0 billion target after five months in the market. 

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Great Hill Partners on the fund formation with an investment funds team led by New York partner Andrea Schwartzman, with associates Erin Bergey, Christina Costa, and Eric Czubiak. New York partner Gregory Hannibal, with associates Valentin Riazanov and Lea Li advised on tax matters.
