Global Restructuring Review (GRR) has named Latham & Watkins the Large Law Firm That Impressed at its GRR Awards 2019, which celebrates the people, places, and matters that made an impact in the cross-border restructuring and insolvency sector over the past year.

Latham also rose to fifth place in the third edition of the GRR 30, which includes the very top law firms from the publication’s guide.

Latham’s ranking is based on the firm’s top 10 cases during the research period and its performance in Who’s Who Legal: Restructuring & Insolvency 2018. GRR considered the size of Latham’s restructuring and insolvency team, the number of countries in which the firm practices, the hours billed, the clients served, the value and volume of cases worked on, and the level of complexity and innovation that was required in individual cases.
