The Lawyer Names Latham Global Firm of the Year in Europe

Firm commended for its significant pro bono efforts, cross-border experience, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Latham & Watkins has been named Global Firm of the Year in Europe at The Lawyer European Awards 2019. Now in their 10th year, the annual awards showcase the achievements of Europe’s leading law firms, legal teams, and individuals.

The inaugural Global Firm of the Year in Europe category recognizes international law firms that demonstrate exceptional strength and growth in Continental Europe. The Lawyer praised Latham for its continued commitment to Europe, recognizing the firm’s significant pro bono efforts, strong cross-border experience, and dedication to diversity and inclusion. 

Latham was also shortlisted in the European Litigation Team of the Year category for successfully representing Novenergia in an international Stockholm Chamber of Commerce arbitration proceeding, and in the Antitrust Deal of the Year category for advising Microsoft in EU antitrust proceedings for its US$7.5 billion acquisition of GitHub.
