Latham & Watkins advises Ardian on the sale of Photonis to HLD Europe

Sale of a market leader in electro-optic detection to HLD Europe

HLD Europe has entered into exclusive negotiations with Ardian to acquire Photonis, a leading manufacturer of light intensifier tubes for night vision binoculars and scientific detection systems.
With the support of its new shareholder, Photonis will be able to pursue its technological innovation and the development of new applications both organically and through acquisitions.

Latham advises Ardian with a corporate team in Paris led by partner Gaëtan Gianasso with David Chatteleyn. Partner Xavier Renard advises on tax aspects.
