Taylor West advises clients on a wide range of complex environmental, commercial, toxic tort, and products liability mandates.

She focuses particularly on emerging contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), environmental contamination, and natural resource damages. Ms. West also counsels clients on regulatory compliance and transactional issues relating to federal environmental laws as well as their state equivalents.

Ms. West helps companies navigate all aspects of litigation and regulatory risks while balancing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability goals through development and implementation of comprehensive defense strategies concerning permitting, investigation and remediation, and government interaction and response. Ms. West also represents clients in defending environmental, products liability, and toxic tort actions in federal and state courts.

Ms. West also maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily representing individuals seeking asylum and battered spouses in seeking citizenship under the Violence Against Women Act.

Ms. West is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the US District Court for the District of Connecticut.
