Sukjoon Lee advises Korean clients on a full range of cross-border transactions, litigation in foreign jurisdictions, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters.
Sukjoon, a native Korean speaker, draws on prior experience with capital markets in the US and Hong Kong, including serving in the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporate Finance.
Resident in Latham’s Seoul office, Sukjoon collaborates with the firm’s market-leading practitioners in a full range of practices around the world. He draws on his strong technical knowledge of capital markets transactions and his fluency in the business practices of Korea, Hong Kong, and the US to provide seamless support to Korean clients on global matters.
Prior to his legal practice, Sukjoon worked at the Bank of Korea as an economic analyst in the Research Department and in the Governor’s Office. He also served in the US 8th Army in Korea.
