Rebecca Tan is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Tan represents investment and commercial banks, corporate borrowers, and private equity firms in a range of leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financing, direct-lending, and cross-border transactions.

Ms. Tan maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum and temporary protected status in the United States, families experiencing homelessness and transgender clients seeking legal name changes, among others.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tan trained as a litigation and disputes lawyer, working primarily on government investigations and anti-bribery and corruption matters.
