Rashmi Borah is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Borah was a summer associate in the New York office.

While in law school, Ms. Borah served as the 69th editor-in-chief of the Emory Law Journal. Ms. Borah interned for the US Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Ms. Borah also served as a judicial extern to Judge Timothy C. Batten, Sr., US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Ms. Borah also served as the deputy director of the Emory Law School Supreme Court Advocacy Program, where she helped draft several amicus briefs and petitions for certiorari to the US Supreme Court.

Prior to law school, Ms. Borah served as a research associate for former President Barack Obama’s Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues.

Ms. Borah is registered as a patent agent with the US Patent and Trademark Office.
