Patrick Kwak is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins focusing on international capital markets transactions and securities regulation.

Mr. Kwak represents investment banks, private equity firms, and companies in public and private debt and equity offerings and acquisition financing, in particular issuances of high yield debt securities and leveraged transactions. 

Mr. Kwak has been honored as one of three International “Rising Stars” at the IFLR Europe Awards 2020.

Mr. Kwak's representative experience includes advising:

  • A consortium led by EQT Partners (EQT) and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority on the cross border financing for the acquisition of Nestlé’s Skin Health, for a value of CHF10.2 billion
  • Young's Seafood group on its sale to Karro Food Group, owned by CapVest Partners‎‎, and the related restructuring negotiations with its bondholders
  • Victoria PLC on its issuance of €330 million 5.25% Senior Secured Notes due 2024
  • Hellman & Friedman on the offering of €200 million Senior Secured Notes by Verisure Holding, one of its portfolio companies
  • JP Morgan on McLaren Finance plc’s US$100 million Private Placement Tack-On Offering of 5.75% Senior Secured Notes due 2022
  • BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and a syndicate of banks in connection with the offering of €825 million Senior Secured Notes due 2023 and €1.3 billion Senior Secured Floating Rate Notes due 2023 by Nexi Capital S.p.A., an Italian payments company
  • CVC Capital Partners on the concurrent exchange offer and private placement with respect to £150 million senior secured floating rates due 2020 by its portfolio company, Domestic & General

  • Neptune Energy Bondco plc in connection with its offering of US$550 million 6.625% Senior Notes due 2025
