Nils Gilbertson is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Mr. Gilbertson is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department and Complex Commercial Litigation Practice. He represents clients in complex litigation matters involving product liability, toxic torts, commercial contract disputes, class actions, and other high-stakes litigation in a variety of forums. Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Gilbertson earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as senior articles editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law & Public Policy.
The Daily Journal recognized Latham’s victory in City of Modesto et al. v. The Dow Chemical Co. et al. as one of the “largest and most significant verdicts” in California in 2023.
Latham recognized for securing a defense verdict for The Dow Chemical Co. and PPG Industries Inc. in a quarter century-old environmental litigation.
