Nicolas Gonzalez is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Capital Markets Practice.

Mr. Gonzalez primarily advises private and public companies on capital markets, general securities, and general corporate matters. His experience includes representing issuers and underwriters in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including:

  • Initial public offerings
  • Direct listings
  • Secondary equity offerings
  • Investment grade and high-yield debt offerings

He also advises early-stage companies and leading venture capital firms on financings and general corporate matters, with a focus on the financial technology and technology sectors.

Mr. Gonzalez's experience covers a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on the consumer retail, entertainment, financial technology, and technology sectors.

He maintains an active pro bono practice, helping low-income entrepreneurs start, grow, and expand their businesses through Latham’s partnership program with NYC Small Business Solutions, and he currently serves as a global leader for the firm's Hispanic/Latin American Lawyers affinity group.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Mr. Gonzalez was an SEO Law Fellow. While attending Cornell Law School, he served as an editor of the Cornell Law Review.
