Michael Jin is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Jin’s practice focuses on complex commercial and securities litigation, as well as governmental and internal investigations. Mr. Jin also has an active pro bono practice focused on immigration-related matters, including Violence Against Women Act self-petitions and asylum applications.

Mr. Jin received his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2016, where he served on The Tax Lawyer. Mr. Jin is the author of “Section 501(r): A Better Charitable Tax Exemption for Nonprofit Hospitals?” published in the Spring 2016 edition of The Tax Lawyer. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jin worked in federal and state politics in Colorado.
