Micah Kamoe is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.
Mr. Kamoe advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies in a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions for financial and strategic clients as well as general corporate matters.
Mr. Kamoe maintains an active pro bono practice, representing Spanish-speaking immigrants seeking asylum, visa assistance, or other relief.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Kamoe was a corporate associate at a leading international law firm. Mr. Kamoe graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 2019 where he participated in the Doctoroff Business Leadership Program and the Innovation Clinic.
