Melinda Vanderburg is an associate in the Bay Area offices of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Ms. Vanderburg represents public and private companies in various corporate transactions in connection with mergers and acquisitions, IPO and follow-on offerings, and general corporate representation.

 Ms. Vanderburg maintains a pro bono practice advising individuals seeking asylum and permanent residency in the United States.

 During law school, she served as the managing editor of the Duke Environmental Law & Policy Forum, as articles editor of the Duke Journal of International, and Comparative Law, and as vice president of the Duke Environmental Law Society.

 Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Vanderburg held legal internships at an international airline and the Beijing office of a global law firm.
