Matthew Powell is a finance associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins, and is a member of the Project Development & Finance Practice.
Mr. Powell advises a variety of lenders, equity investors, sponsors, and developers with the development, financing, acquisition, and divestment of a variety of energy and infrastructure projects, with a focus in the renewable energy sector.
Mr. Powell earned his JD/MBA from Emory University, where he was the Alan E. and Myrna Rothfeder Scholar. He was elected as a member of the Order of the Coif and graduated with High Honors. Mr. Powell also served as a member of the Emory International Law Review.
