Matthew Fisher is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Mr. Fisher advises clients on debt and equity capital markets transactions, as well as related advisory matters. 

Mr. Fisher has previously practiced in Moscow, and has a particular focus on matters involving organizations in Russia, the CIS, and emerging markets. 

Mr. Fisher’s experience includes advising:

  • Cian on its US$290 million IPO on the New York Stock Exchange
  • Tinkoff Bank on the issuance of US$600 million of its loan participation notes for Tier 1 capital purposes
  • Rusal on the issuance of US$1.6 billion of its eurobonds, including its US$600 million debut eurobond *
  • Sovcomflot on its US$550 million privatization and IPO on the Moscow Exchange, as well as its issue of US$750 million of eurobonds*
  • The Russian Ministry of Finance on its US$4 billion liability management exercise*
  • Magnit in connection with the sale of RUB44 billion of its shares*
  • Russian Railways on its issue of CHF250 million of green eurobonds*
