Mary Alice DiPietro Sand

Mary Alice DiPietro is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Tax Department. Her practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.

Ms. DiPietro advises public and private companies on matters including:

  • Employee benefits and executive compensation aspects of mergers, acquisitions, bank financings, and other corporate transactions 
  • Structuring, implementing, and maintaining benefits and compensation plans and arrangements
  • Structuring various types of compensation arrangements for senior executives, including employment agreements, severance agreements, equity compensation arrangements, incentive compensation, and deferred compensation

Ms. DiPietro received her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and won the 2015 Hale Moot Court competition. Before joining the firm, she served as a legal extern for Judge Paul L. Abrams in the Central District of California.
