MacLane Taggart is an associate in the Capital Markets Practice in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Taggart has experience advising both issuers and underwriters in various types of transactions including initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, and investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings, among others. He also counsels various types of clients in connection with public company representation, mergers and acquisitions, and emerging companies.

Mr. Taggart’s experience covers a range of industries including retail and consumer products, fintech, energy and infrastructure, and healthcare and life sciences, among others. He also has experience working with foreign private issuers.

Mr. Taggart maintains an active pro bono practice, representing LGBTQ individuals seeking parental rights and advising small businesses and entrepreneurs.

While in law school, Mr. Taggart served as the editor in chief of the Virginia Tax Review.
