Jonas Kraus is an associate in the Frankfurt office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department.

Mr. Kraus advises international and national companies, focusing on EU and German data protection law. He also advises companies on data protection issues in the context of administrative and court proceedings, as well as M&A transactions.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Kraus worked, among others, in the legal department of a leading consulting firm and in the legal department of a DAX group.

Mr. Kraus’ recent experience includes advising:

  • Bregal Unternehmerkapital on data privacy aspects of the acquisition of Laird Thermal Systems
  • EMZ Partners on the acquisition of a minority stake in Wishcard
  • Hg on data privacy aspects of the acquisition of a majority stake in Serrala
