Jason “Jase” Burner is an associate in the Austin office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, and Emerging Companies Practices.
Mr. Burner represents public and private companies, including strategic and financial investors, in connections with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, carve-outs, reorganizations, and general corporate matters. Additionally, Mr. Burner also works with emerging companies and investors in the founding, funding, and operation of emerging companies.
He advises clients on a variety of transactions within the technology, consumer products, healthcare, aerospace, and media industries.
Mr. Burner maintains an active pro bono practice, representing artists and arts organization in the Austin community as a member of Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts.
Mr. Burner serves on the Board of Directors of the Austin Sunshine Camps and the St. Andrew’s Episcopal School Alumni Association.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Burner was a corporate associate for another leading international law firm.
