Dr. Jan Frederik Heuer is an associate in the Latham & Watkins Hamburg office. He advises national and international clients on domestic and cross-border financings, including financial restructurings.
His practice focuses on real estate financing, debt restructuring, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, and syndicated loans.
Following his graduation from the University of Münster with a focus on banking and capital market law, Dr. Heuer worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Information, Telecommunications and Media Law.
He was a designated contact for members of the German Research Network (DFN) on legal issues in the fields of information, media, and data protection law. He concurrently completed his doctoral thesis with a focus on capital market law.
