James Tomberlin’s practice covers a wide range of appellate and government-facing litigation matters, as well as regulatory matters in the communications sector.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Tomberlin clerked for Judge Eric L. Clay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
He received his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an editor of the Virginia Law Review and participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. At graduation, Mr. Tomberlin was awarded the Roger & Madeleine Traynor Prize for best written work by a graduating student for his student article.
