Eudora Hu is an associate in the Beijing office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.

Ms. Hu advises clients on antitrust matters, complex litigations and investigations, data privacy and protection, and other compliance and regulatory matters across different industries.

  • Advising a Taiwan-based semiconductor company in the merger control filing to SAMR, for the acquisition by a US semiconductor company
  • Advising Atotech, a leading specialty chemicals technology company, in the merger control filing to SAMR, for the acquisition by MKS Instruments, Inc.
  • Assisting a Korea-based ship building giant in an antitrust litigation challenging the block decision from the European Commission on its combination of another Korea-based ship building giant
  • Advising a US-based leading high performance and adaptive computing products provider, in the merger control filings to SAMR and antitrust authorities in multiple other jurisdictions, for its acquisition of a global semiconductor company in programmable logic device area
  • Advising a leading supplier of automation and IT solutions in China in a high-profile shareholder dispute in the jurisdiction of BVI
  • Advising a top auto cleaning robots supplier, to successfully navigate two antitrust investigations in Germany and Austria
  • Advising The Carlyle Group, a world-leading alternative asset management company, in the merger control filings to SAMR and antitrust authorities in multiple other jurisdictions, for various transactions across retailing industries including food service, wind energy, managed physical medicine industry, etc.
  • Advising a sovereign wealth fund in Singapore, in the merger control filings to SAMR for multiple transactions
  • Advising Farfetch, a UK-based company in the luxury fashion industry in merger control filings to SAMR for multiple transactions
  • Advising several world leading semiconductor companies and other types of clients in developing its government investigation action plan and conducting antitrust trainings 
  • Conducting sensitive independent internal investigation for the Audit Committee of a China based US listed company in the education industry regarding the short selling report, and assisting it to respond to SEC inquiries
  • Advising a Taiwan-based company in the semiconductor industry to deal with the criminal charges raised by DOJ on commercial espionage
  • Advising COSCO Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. in connection with the imposition of two subsidiaries on the “SDN” list by US Department of State and OFAC 
  • Conducting internal investigation authorized by the Board of a China based unicorn in the shared space industry
  • Conducting internal investigation for a US-based worldwide Top 500 home appliance company with US security class action as background
  • Advising various other clients in antitrust trainings, merger control filings, investigations and various compliance regulatory matters before and after joining the firm
