Avanthi M. Cole is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Cole advises clients on intellectual property matters and disputes across many industries, including pharmaceuticals, technology, and the music industry. 
 
Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Cole was a law clerk at a leading US law firm. While in law school, Ms. Cole served as a staff editor for Columbia Journal of Race and Law, in which her note on heirs’ property was published. She also externed at the Bronx Defenders and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and was an intern for the DNA Unit of the Legal Aid Society.

Ms. Cole maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals in criminal and immigration matters.
