Kathryn Culver is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Culver represents pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, digital health, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, and consumer product companies on FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement matters. She counsels clients at all stages of the product lifecycle, including, among others, pre-market regulatory communications and submissions, contract matters relating to clinical trials, post-market actions and recalls, and administrative interactions and appeals.

In the transactional arena, Ms. Culver conducts FDA regulatory diligence for  equity offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and private transactions.

Ms. Culver’s pro bono practice is dedicated to matters involving the promotion of children’s rights.

Prior to practicing law in the regulatory and transactional spaces, Ms. Culver practiced patent litigation chiefly pertaining to DNA sequencing technology.

While in law school, Ms. Culver served as a summer legal intern for the US Agency for International Development’s Office of the General Counsel in Washington, D.C.
