Judith Hasko honored for advising on complex transactions to enable treatments for critical human diseases.

The Recorder, the American Lawyer Media publication in California, has named corporate partner Judith Hasko, Global Vice Chair of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice, among its Women Leaders in Tech Law for 2019. Receiving this annual recognition in previous years, Hasko continues to be honored for her innovative advice to life sciences companies and investors on a range of pioneering, technology-based commercial matters.

In her published profile, Hasko is recognized for her recent representation of Japan’s Daiichi Sankyo Co. in a US$6.9 billion global agreement with AstraZeneca, which is among the largest value oncology collaborations ever announced, to co-develop and commercialize a new antibody-drug product for cancer treatment, as well as other complex transactions to enable treatments for critical human diseases.

“My clients put their talents, energy and funding into creating opportunities for novel therapies, and I am able to assist them in obtaining additional significant funding and complementary capabilities and expertise through collaborations,” Hasko said.
