San Francisco Litigator Honored for Diversity Efforts

Ms. JD, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to the success of aspiring and early career women lawyers, honored San Francisco partner Bob Sims, a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department, with its TIM Initiative award at its 10th annual conference on women in law.

Since 2014, The Incredible Men (TIM) Initiative award from Ms. JD has recognized “a man who is an active champion for women’s advancement in the legal profession . . . who not only value[s] equality and diversity in the profession, but earnestly and enthusiastically support[s] women and women’s initiatives.”

Among his many efforts, Bob serves as faculty at the firm’s Diversity Leadership Academy and as an active member of Latham’s Black Lawyers Group. Bob is a former member of the Associates Committee, Diversity Leadership Committee, and Income Partner/Counsel Review Committee, and currently sits on the Mentoring Committee.
