Firm Named Most "Innovative International Law Firm" in Diversity Awards

Latham & Watkins was named the “Most Innovative International Law Firm” at the Euromoney Legal Media Group (LMG) Women in Business Law Awards 2014. Latham scooped the award for its “cutting-edge practices around diversity and talent management,” according to Euromoney LMG.

Latham won the “Northeast Law Firm of the Year” award based on the firm’s commitment to women’s diversity issues. According to Euromoney LMG, “This award is given to a firm that has shown outstanding achievement in supporting the development of women in the legal profession and providing innovative work/life programmes to enable women to pursue legal careers.”

At an individual level, New York partner Kathy Walsh was named “Best in Investment Funds” based on peer review and industry achievements. “[O]ur investment funds winner was described very favourably by peers. She is Global Co-Chair of one of the most active and highly regarded Investment Funds practices in the world,” added Euromoney LMG.
