1L Diversity Scholars
Our 1L Diversity Scholarship program provides first year law students with in-depth legal training, mentoring, and real-world experience throughout Latham’s ten-week summer program. We partner with organizations such as JD Advising, Pipeline to Practice, PracticePro, and LEAP, to provide coaching, training, and other experiences for 1L students.
2L Diversity Scholars
Our 2L Diversity Scholarship program provides in-depth legal training, mentoring, and real-work experience, along with a $50,000 scholarship, and an enrichment experience that includes one of the following: client in-house rotation, pro bono work, international placement, or a special interest project. To build a more inclusive legal community Latham has doubled the 2L diversity scholarship amount, from $25,000 to $50,000, and has significantly increased, from 40 to 50, the number of 2L diversity scholarships awarded for the 2022 summer program.
