8.

What should I do if there is no sound to accompany a video?

Click the speaker icon in your menu bar to access your volume control settings. If the volume is adjusted to the lowest setting or to mute, you will not be able to hear the audio component of the video. You should, therefore, increase the volume setting.

9.

The video sometimes freezes or "skips," while the audio seems to work correctly. Is there something wrong with my computer?

No -- this is a symptom of heavy network traffic. The streaming video server will always attempt to deliver the audio at a constant rate, so that if traffic issues do occur, the video will skip frames, rather than disturb the flow of the audio.

10.

If I do not have the time to review an entire program, can I return to the program later and fast-forward to the spot where I left off?

Yes. Before exiting the program, take note of the elapsed time which shows at the bottom of the Windows Media Player screen.

When you return to the program, move the Seek Bar to the right until you get to the same elapsed time that you noted previously.
