Signa Mahung is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Prior to rejoining Latham, Ms. Mahung served as a law clerk for Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. 

While in law school, Ms. Mahung served as a managing editor of events for the Harvard Civil Rights – Civil Liberties Journal. Additionally, Ms. Mahung interned for Judge Liam O’Grady in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Ms. Mahung earned her AB from Harvard College and was a Fulbright Scholar to Brazil, where she served as an English Teaching Assistant at the Federal University of Piauí. 

Ms. Mahung maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigration and prisoner’s rights.
