Peter Viola is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the firm’s Environment, Land & Resources Practice. Mr. Viola’s practice focuses on complex environmental litigation, as well as regulatory and transactional support.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Viola earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he served as a law clerk at the US Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division and as a law clerk at Environmental Law Institute. He worked on matters through Georgetown’s environmental law clinic, the Institute for Public Representation, served as a board member of the student Environmental Law Society, and was an editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Journal.
