Madelyn Tarr is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Tarr advises public and private companies on various corporate transactions. Her experience includes:

  • Venture capital financings
  • Formation and startup matters
  • Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and follow-on offerings
  • General corporate representation

Ms. Tarr maintains an active pro bono practice. She works with Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto advising individuals seeking asylum and permanent residency in the United States.

During law school, she was the managing editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review, executive editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law, and a teaching assistant for the Start-Up Ventures Clinic.

She previously served as an associate with the Duke Angel Network.
