Dr. Holger Iversen retired from the partnership in December 2019. Dr. Iversen is the former Global Co-Chair of the Real Estate Private Equity Practice.

He has profound experience on the sale, purchase, financing, and restructuring of assets and companies (in particular real estate companies and real estate portfolios), private equity, and joint ventures. He advised non-German clients with respect to their investments in Germany as well as German clients doing business abroad or with foreign investors.

Prior to his career in private practice, Dr. Iversen worked as a research assistant with the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and International Private Law in Hamburg and at Bankers Trust / Deutsche Bank AG in New York City.

Dr. Iversen has acted as a panelist lecturing on investments of foreign investors in Germany.

Dr. Iversen was a recommended lawyer for Real Estate and M&A (JUVE 2016/2017). He was described by a competitor as a “dealmaker” (JUVE 2013/2014). A client called Dr. Iversen “our go-to advisor” (JUVE 2015/2016).
