Eva Beyer Blumental is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s global Antitrust & Competition Practice. She advises clients on EU competition law.

Ms. Beyer advises major companies on the full range of EU and international competition law, and has experience in multinational transactions. She regularly acts on behalf of international corporations in merger review proceedings before the European Commission and competition authorities worldwide.

Ms. Beyer provided strategic advice in diverse industry sectors such as healthcare, energy, financial services, industrials, and private equity.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Beyer worked as an associate at another global law firm in Brussels.

Ms. Beyer Blumental’s recent experience includes advising:

  • Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited on its acquisition of Shire plc*
  • E.ON in connection with the acquisition of RWE’s stake in Innogy SE*
