Emily Sachs is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Sachs primarily handles Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory matters for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, digital health, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, and consumer product companies. In particular, she advises clients on FDA regulatory, compliance, and business considerations in the context of healthcare transactions.

Ms. Sachs earned her JD from Vanderbilt Law School and graduated with honors. She was a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, president of the Health Law Society, director of Vanderbilt’s Medical-Legal Partnership, a teaching assistant for legal writing students, and a research assistant for Professor Ellen Clayton. During law school, Ms. Sachs spent a summer at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, working in the Office of General Counsel.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Sachs clerked for Judge Eduardo C. Robreno in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
