David Ajalat represents emerging-growth companies as well as the venture capitalists and growth investors who finance them.
Mr. Ajalat guides emerging-growth companies throughout their lifecycle, from formation and financings through exit planning. He acts as outside general counsel, partnering with management teams to develop business-friendly legal solutions that drive growth and success. He has led hundreds of financing and M&A transactions for emerging companies in a wide variety of industries, including technology, digital media, life sciences, software, consumer products, and entertainment, sports, and media. He regularly advises companies on:
- Company formation and structuring
- General corporate counseling
- Corporate governance
- Capital raising
- Mergers and acquisitions
- SEC reporting and compliance
Mr. Ajalat also represents venture capital and private equity firms, as well as strategic acquirers in connection with their investments and M&A transactions.
Mr. Ajalat has taught courses on venture capital as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
