Clayton Cromer is a corporate associate in the Austin office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Cromer represents private companies and venture capital firms in connection with early-stage formation and strategy and venture capital financings. He advises clients on a variety of transactions in the emerging technology sector, with an emphasis on the fintech and digital asset space.

Mr. Cromer maintains an active pro bono practice, advising small business owners in the Austin and Houston metro areas in partnership with Houston Small Business Legal Consultations and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.

While in law school, Mr. Cromer served as the managing student director of the University of Chicago Corporate Lab and the president of the Texas Law Society. During his time at Texas A&M, he founded the university’s first microfinance institution and led its first international service trip to Costa Rica.
