Carolina Bernal-Ramirez is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
While attending Duke University School of Law, Ms. Bernal-Ramirez served as a communications director for the Duke Bar Association and worked as a research and teaching assistant. She won the Dean’s Award for torts and the James S. Bidlake Memorial Award for Superior Achievement in Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Bernal-Ramirez worked as an associate at a Colombian law firm where she represented clients on real estate transactions, restructuring, and other general corporate and commercial matters.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Bernal-Ramirez was a summer associate in the New York office.
Ms. Bernal-Ramirez’s experience includes representing:

- Major Colombian developers like Arquitectura y Concreto, Ménsula, and Pedro Gomez y Cia in diverse residential and commercial developments across the country*
