Abigail Raish is a corporate associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Raish represents private equity firms, investment banks, and public and private companies on a variety of financing and other transactions including:
- Debt and equity offerings
- Initial public offerings (IPOs)
- Cross-border transactions
- Leveraged buyouts
She also advises public companies on a day-to-day basis on corporate governance, securities law issues, and stock exchange requirements, and assists in preparing and filing '34 Act reports.
Ms. Raish is Global Co-Chair of the firm's Women Lawyers Group, and previously served on the firm’s Charitable Contributions Committee supporting and promoting involvement in the community through charitable giving and volunteerism.
She is active in the firm's pro bono program, working with the Chicago Volunteer Legal Society advising clients on family law matters including guardianship and adoption proceedings.
Prior to law school, Ms. Raish worked in commercial real estate investment.
