Jürgen W. Libbert

Jürgen Libbert retired fom partnership on December 31, 2004. He represented a broad array of major and medium-sized German and global corporations in both German and cross-border transactions. Mr. Libbert's practice focused on general corporate transactional work, including reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He counseled clients in general commercial and corporate matters as well as selected commercial litigation related matters.

Mr. Libbert came to Latham & Watkins from the German law firm Gaedertz, where he was a partner in the Corporate Department. He also worked as foreign stagiaire for the UK law firm Linklaters & Paines in London.

Mr. Libbert is a member of the International Bar Association and a member of the Supervisory Boards of major and medium-sized corporations/companies.
