Public Law Specialist Joins Latham & Watkins in Frankfurt

Senior administrative and regulatory law practitioner further bolsters firm’s public procurement law and state aid capabilities.

Frankfurt... Latham & Watkins1 is pleased to announce that Joachim Grittmann has joined the firm’s Frankfurt office as counsel. Grittmann’s practice focuses on administrative and regulatory law with particular experience in the energy, mining, telecoms, automotive, real estate, financial services, and transportation sectors.

Grittmann has represented a wide cross-section of public and private companies on energy, environmental and compliance law matters. His experience spans data protection, export control and economic sanction matters, European state aid and public procurement law.

Grittmann joins Latham & Watkins from Shearman & Sterling. He studied law at the University of Heidelberg University and obtained his Professional Master of Public Administration from the University for Applied Administrative Studies in Kehl.
