Innovate Finance, the independent membership association that represents the UK’s global FinTech community, has named New York partner Vivian Maese to its 2017 Women in FinTech Powerlist, which celebrates the contributions women make in shaping the future of FinTech. The annual list recognizes female leaders and game-changers from FinTech companies and the institutions that support them, including law firms, regulators, professional service groups and government organizations. Innovate Finance is committed to closing the gender gap and promoting diversity in the financial services sector.
Maese, who serves as Co-chair of Latham’s Financial Institutions and FinTech Industry Groups, was also recently honored at the Markets Media’s 2017 Women in Finance Awards for her leadership in financial services industry. Her client, Thesys Technologies, the leading big data solutions market structure technology provider, nominated her for the award. Maese is serving as legal counsel to Thesys CAT in the development and implementation of the SEC's Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) as CAT’s Plan Processor, a ground-breaking initiative that will transform the financial services industry.
